Class of 2020 Early Action Yield?

Does anyone have any idea how many students Stanford will admit in the early action round? Or what your chance (percent-wise) of being admitted is when you apply early action compared to regular decision? With the 11th right around the corner my nerves are in hyperdrive and I’m just trying to manage my expectations.

I mean you never know. But probably around 700-800

It could literally be anything, but should be 700+
Is there anything that actually helps calm down nerves? Because I’ve been trying that since I submitted my app but I’m still hyperactive :SS

I’ve honestly been just trying to enjoy life, but then I’ve been focusing on my other applications. Giving myself stuff to do to distract myself, the decision day will come eventually

Its usually about 10%+ of all applications sent. Last year, out of I think 7k REA applications, 11.99% were accepted.

Yeah, 743 got in and 562 were deferred (out of 7297 applicants). I wonder how many applied REA this year

562 deferred? I saw somewhere on Stanford’s website that (paraphrasing) they liked to make most decisions immediately. But that was perhaps for waitlisting and not deferring from REA.

I also assume there aren’t any fancy acceptance rate figures for the deferred applicants in specific?
