Hey guys I just received my acceptance today in the EOP program, I was wondering who else did as well?

Hey. I also applied to University at Buffalo EOP but I haven’t got a decision yet. They said that they are currently reviewing me academically. If uou don’t mind me asking, did they asked you for financial forms for EOP? What is the process for EOP?

Hi guys! I got accepted into EOP at UB, and I haven’t sent my deposit yet, because I’m waiting for my financial packet. Have you guys received yours? And have you learned anything new about the program?

@bknylee did you have to send additional forms? How did you know that you been accepted? What were your stats?

@Billy1236 I had to send the financial verification form, along with my parents tax return. And I got a letter in the mail stating that I was accepted. My stats: GPA:93, SAT:1000 out of 1600.

For your EOP acceptance, did you get a single envelope or a huge acceptance packet ?

@Shelly215 I called the financial aid office about the cost of attendance, and the lady said we don’t get our finalized cost of attendance until July, because we have to choose dorms and meal choices. But as of now, my estimated cost of attendance is about $8,000.

@JoshEss My acceptance came in an acceptance packet, it was big, but very thin, and said congratulations on the front of it, so I knew I was accepted. However, a week letter I got an envelop confirming my acceptance.

Is housing covered for EOP students?

@BabyPanda33 The deposit for EOP students is deferred, which means we will pay it at a later date. However, the housing isn’t fully covered. Some EOP students still have to take out loans. EOP gives a grant to students that is at most $2,000, and then the financial help of FAFSA, and TAP, if you are from NY, really help with the cost of tuition. So, it best to apply to scholarships, because we are still expected to take out loans.

I was accepted academically and sent my financial information and taxes and it was delivered on Saturday 30 April, I just read on their fb page that May 1 is the deadline, I hope I made it in time! I got into EOP at Binghamton but I like Buffalo more :frowning: Do you guys think they still are reviewing?
