Just venting here but man what a numbers game! If bw is offering 8 or 9 spots to girls and they already have 2 locked down - the odds are astronomical! There were probably at least 400 or 500 who auditioned …
Does anyone know if ball state has sent rejections?
D’s heard nothing from Ball state so far. Assuming at this point that since didn’t get a letter of interest that its a no.

My D just got a call today from Ball State informing her she is on the waitlist… and she is THRILLED!! She is hoping to move up and off that list if possible! Hang in there everyone; it’ll all be over soon:)
My D got an email from BW too - but I wouldn’t read that as a sign of accept or not. It looked like a blast reminder email.
As comic relief for myself I call this March Madness - waiting on a strange combination of merit, artistic $$, academic acceptances and iof course artistic acceptances! Fortunately my daughter is accepted to MT at 2 schools, one is first choice but we haven’t gotten packages and “school” acceptances! She is busy with rehearsal, choir, IB requirements etc so its probably easier for her! Me, I stalk CC, the mailbox and her email for news! Thanks for sharing all! Not a lot of support from academic and non artistic friends and family!!
I would agree, @PickALittle. Although I didn’t really like that the email has info about how you still have other options for studying at Baldwin Wallace if you don’t get accepted to MT… 
@choirsandstages Texas State does the same thing, except their email also says you can still audition for all the mainstage and studio shows, regardless of major…
Rejection from Pace. Have a feeling this will be the week I get all my rejections and it’s also finals week at my school. Go figure.

@stmama well that actually sounds like a good deal. I had no idea that Texas State had that policy; pretty cool!
The show we saw only had MT majors in it so not sure if it actually happens. They do have several non audition theatre degrees though so who knows…
@choirsandstages exactly my thought about the letter - wonder if the acceptances got the same letter today or if just maybe those of us that are being deferred to theater - like foreshadowing
@jbrideau I know of someone who got an acceptance to Wagner on Monday. I don’t know if it was through email, snail mail, call, or portal. I just know that they were notified of being accepted on Monday. O:-)

Past two nights going over offers in my head, knowing we are still waiting on some financial letters but I just want my daughter where she will be happiest. So easy to say at the beginning of this, just follow the money and go where she is financially and academically rewarded but when the heart is involved it’s not that easy!
