Let’s get people talking! Who else is ready to become a future Gator?
I’m super ready! Can’t wait until February.
I hope! Super nervous
Why does it take until February for decisions to come back?
If anyone has any questions for someone admitted as a freshman last year, let me know
Good luck all! So excited/nervous to hear decisions >:D<

That’s a heck of a lot of volunteer hours, bookiee. I like your chances!
@aaajones pretty general, but overall what’s your opinion so far?
@bookiee your stats are very similar to mine, you should be fine your essay also sounds very powerful
@soyunchico I haven’t really seen anyone who looks like they’d be rejected…obviously the applicant pool gets stronger every year but nobody should be worried. I’ve met a lot of freshmen this year who had stats FAR below anybody here…when UF says they have holistic admissions they really mean it.
@aaajones thanks for the confidence boost but I meant like your experience at UF so far?
@soyunchico oh, it’s been alright. At first I was doubting my choice because so much of the student body is into things I can’t really stand (Greek life is the worst). For me it was just a matter of finding a group of friends and clubs/organizations that I like a lot. The main thing that gets me is dorm life, I hate it. Academically it’s been great though. The professors that I’ve had are pretty awesome.
@aaajones yeah I am hesitant of schools with huge Greek life as well. What is so bad with the dorms? Just the people or the actual dorms?
@soyunchico it’s the people who live on my floor for sure. My hall is right next to sorority row so it’s mostly sorority girls… The actual dorms are fine. Being close to everything (dining hall, classes, etc) is the best part of it.
@aaajones yeah living in Broward or Jennings is probably all super Greek. Good luck with school and all!
