Anyone got waitlisted for Aerospace? I’m still waiting
@bean981 do you think cpp is a good school if you want to go to grad school for pharmacy?
Provisionally Admitted as of 5/18
Transfer
In State, Non Local
Mechanical Engineering
GPA 3.5
Golden Four Completed by Spring
@xxsdccx I am not familiar with that path to be honest. I believe if you excel and work hard and get great grades anyone can get in somewhere for what ever they want. It takes planning and hard work. I am more familiar with their engineering program as that is what my son is in. A coworker of mine has a son going into pharmacology and going to a small university in Fresno but a doctor told her kid’s it is ok to go to non uc schools as long you work hard. She was a doctor and had gone to asu for undergrad. She was able to be successful there so I would say anything n is possible.
@bean981 that gave me some relief because i thought a csu ed wasnt meant for grad school, so i was kinda regretting not going to a uc since people have been saying that uc is for grad school
Nope anyone is capable of getting a master’s from wherever they go. It is about grades. Just like getting into undergraduate. So buckle down and work hard which in turn will open opportunities after graduation
What is meant by provisionally admitted? Does that mean they might change their mind?
Am I being provisionally admitted because I am a non local student from Bakersfield? Do local students have priority?
@xxsonic4 you are provisionally admitted because you self reported everything. When they get your final transcripts, tests or any other documentation then they will clear you. That wont happen until late July early august is my bet. I think they will only say something if there is an issue with your transcripts. They are looking to see if you got any D’s or F’s in your final year or any other weird anomalies where you stated one thing and the transcript says something different.
Hey guys, I got off the waitlist for Aerospace!just found out a few minutes ago. (freshman).!
Congrats! I’m sure you must feel so relieved!
