Oh we donât have that. My son did just get an email today saying package coming in next few weeks.
Nothing on portal here either for financial package and daughter was accepted early November. She did get an email today which said they will send information - it didnât specifically say in next few weeks though.
In the email she received about financial package will be sent - it asked us to complete the FASFA or indicate we wouldnât be completing the FASFA. Did anyone have that in their email letter?
I got the email about the financial aid package yesterday afternoon and then checked the financial aid notice in the evening (it had been up but blank for a few days beforehand) and it told me my aid/merit. Im OOS and neuroscience major. I have already completed FAFSA so my aid included that, so im not sure about what it would say in the email to those who havent completed it
S19 received the email but he doesnât have a financial aid award tab. I assume it will show up in his portal where his admission decision is found?
Iâm going to guess that since we hadnât completed FASFA our financial package is delayed. Hopefully we will hear soon.
@mountainmomof3 Did you complete the FASFA or indicate you werenât completing it? We did not take care of the FASFA step and I think that is why we got the email with nothing yet on the portal.
I got an email saying the admissions committee updated the status of my application but nothing has changed? Im confused
OOS D17, direct Nursing program was just defferred to April decision, real bummer

My son got the Presidential scholarship. Weâre in PA
Last night, I got an email from Udel about scholarships/financial aid.
It started like this:
âCongratulations on your admission to the University of Delaware. We recognize that cost will play a role in your decision as you explore the next steps of your academic pursuits. We will send you a comprehensive summary of the costs and financial aid you can expect to receive from us.
Our comprehensive review will include both an evaluation of your academics to determine academic scholarship eligibility and also a review of your financial information to provide the most comprehensive aid package we can offer.â
I didnt end up getting my award notice though. Any ideas on how much longer it may take? Also did anyone else receive this email?
They also noted that they have indeed received my fafsa which is good!

@Raam1012 S19 received the same email as #236. He did submit FAFSA although he is not requesting FA because we donât qualify. We sent FAFSA to all schools since some require it for merit as well.
@mountainmomof3 - Uggh! I didnât realize that I submitted something stating that we would not be completing FASFA because I know from older kids that we donât qualify for financial aid but did not realize it is required for merit awards here! I am on the phone with them now and they said I must complete FASFA in order to get scholarship.
@Raam1012 - and I didnât even realize that was the case for UD. S19 just had other schools on his list of 7 so I had it sent to the whole list just in case. I am sure it will get sorted out soon!
