@El-Cee I believe Pace makes offers to 28 students. There is an alternate list, followed by a lengthy waitlist to help round out the class. That’s how it was last year (my D is at Pace)
I just saw on Instagram that Pace is closed today (including administrative offices) because of weather.
Just wanted to mention Illinois Wesleyan again; I don’t see it on the list. I think three of us have posted that we have decisions for BFA MT. Ours came Friday via snail mail. Thanks!
This list says that Cap/Molloy is making calls, but my S was notified of acceptance via e-mail (yay!), so perhaps there is variety.
Does anyone know if NYU on this list is for both Steinhart and Tisch? And are most of these dates still from last year?
@krglaser IUBloomington sent out first round of yeses last week, but maybe not waitlist notifications yet?
@cloud7or8 my son also got his via snail mail.
@tatteredandfriendly - NYU sends out everything at once for ALL programs: yes, no and waitlists.
@canadad how was your D notified by RCS?
@toowonderful thanks for that information - if only all the schools would do the same!
Thanks @toowonderful
I am so full of questions! Next one, does anyone know when most schools want the student’s final decision by?
@El-Cee during our informational meeting at Pace they said they accept 40 to yield 28 or so.
@tatteredandfriendly May 1st is the usual deadline.
Note - there’s a cross-reference list by date for those who self identify as "date anxiety "sufferers on p. 18 of this thread. Thanks CaMom13

@DramaLlama18 you are a rockstar!! thanks so much for keeping us neurotic (speaking for myself :))) anxiety ridden ccers updated!!
@sladdymtmom Paying it forward! I benefitted so much from the CC collective wisdom last year. I had a spreadsheet going just for our own schools. Glad I can help, even a little bit.
So has anyone in group received notification from IU? According to Get Acceptd their last audition was 2/16. I don’t see a March scheduled date. This is one we are anxious to hear about!!
@Kristiern1 I saw one notice that some notifications have started, but I think those may have been early ones. It was my understanding from them at the audition, they notify all at once about 2 weeks after the last date. So, that should be any day now. This is one we are waiting on too–although the merit $ from IU is much weaker for my D than for other schools.
@32barMom My D received her yes from Ithaca BFA Acting only by checking the MyIthaca Portal. No email was sent.
