I was just following what others have been suggesting. I am not sure really.
Does anyone have a kiddo considering Mizzou?
Thatās exciting! Look forward to meeting him!
Thanks. We are a great school for the right student! Iām predicting about 15% of the freshman class to be NMSFs.
Iām not sure who updates this, but the in state scholarship for University of Missouri is * Full Tuition and Fees
- $3,500 additional annual stipend
- $10,940 one-year on-campus housing and dining
- $2,000 research/study abroad support (one-time award)
- $1,000 tech enrichment (one-time award)
Plus most in state students will also qualify for Bright Flight which is an additional $3000 per year.
And out of state is 22,500 renewable yearly.
A reminder that, once a year, your student will receive a letter from NMSC asking them to renew their scholarship. They will be at college and the letter will likely be sent to your home address. There is a short turn around on getting it submitted. We received our letter today and it is due March 22.
How do Finalists get their NMF diplomas? My son has not received one via either school or snail mail.
Do they get anything beyond the letter confirming they are a finalist? Thatās all our son got. Even after prompting the school never acknowledged he was a finalist and didnāt pass on anything they had received.
I saw Finalist diplomas mentioned here and there. I might be wrong.
The high school said they will present a certificate at the senior awards night at our school.
Ah, thatās probably it. Thank you.
Our high school purposefully excludes academic awards from their senior awards night so I guess weāre out of luck on the certificatesā¦
My daughter came home with a certificate a few weeks ago. I believe NM mailed the certificates to each school.
Thatās hilarious! They should only have academic awards. It is an educational institution.
My Sons got their certificates yesterday!!. I guess thatās the end of schoolās role for NMF.
where is this information available
When do students hear about scholarship information?
Iām not sure if it is published anywhere. The information was given over the phone per my previous post. Please give them a call if you have questions, they are very helpful.
Just checking in - anyoneās kids made any new decisions yet?
My kid remains undecided. Yesterday he said he was 80% sure Tulsa was The One. We shall see!
Had anyone heard any news from NM?
Also, does any one have experience with naming Boston U as top choice?
