Class of 2024 - University of Connecticut

I have a friend who doesnt have that

I have too if you read up in the forum a lot of people have talked about it

@Miggyd77

We don’t have new admit scholarship acceptance below financial aid, sadly

Does anyone else not have the Accept/Decline admission? Or know of anyone that doesn’t have it? I have it but don’t have any financial aid or scholarship links.

well ik some people dont have the admitted student scholarship decision below financial aid in that portal

Are you on the student admin portal or the application portal? @1234dcba

@ChrisTheSwimmer The student admin portal, the same place is where you would find the financial aid links.

@Rubix1
Thank you! Good luck to you guys as well! UF is a reach for my daughter but figured she’d give it a shot. Could use some FL sunshine!

Mine has both the New Admit Scholarship and if I hover over, it says accept/decline

I have the accept/decline also. I’m instate for UCONN and honestly, I’ll be pretty offended if I get declined from Storrs and admitted to a branch, considering Storrs was the only campus I selected. I want a real college experience.

My D has the accept/decline also. We are in state and my D only selected Storrs as well.

OOS have admit/decline and looks like I will get merit $ as well!!

My S has the Accept/Decline…still nothing about New Admit Scholarship. Preparing for this one to be a “no”. After this, waiting to hear from 4 others…

@MThopeful2022 just because it doesn’t say new admit scholarship doesn’t mean it’s a good chance of a no! A lot of people have the financial aid info link which could be an indication that you got in, as they are potentially giving you a financial aid offer.

Just FYI for anyone who was confused like I was, if I hover over “withdraw application” on the admissions portal, I see nothing. If I hover over it on the student admin page, I see the accept/decline flag.

I agree with that this probably doesn’t mean you didn’t get in, but maybe not a scholarship? That’s what I’m assuming it means for us. A financial aid offer could mean just loans, work study, etc.

Yes it probably means you won’t get a scholarship but it isn’t an indication of a for sure no. It seems like the people that had at least the financial aid link last year got in, and those who had the scholarship links and the financial aid link got in with merit.

I really hope you are right. Does anyone know what typical merit packages are? How much of tuition can I expect to have covered if I receive merit?

For those who have the financial aid tab could you please let me know what it says under the “Aid Year” column? I’m concerned my daughter might be waitlisted because it says “2021” and not “2020”. Thanks.

@debmurray

Ours says 2021 as well.
