Starting a new thread for University of Connecticut decisions 2022… good luck all…
when do decisions come out?
@pkgny2022 Not until March.
Can’t get on sight
To anyone who has completed and sent in their application:
Is anyone else experiencing trouble with the portal? I can’t really see any information on it
I just checked and mine is working fine, it is a bit confusing to get to the “check application status” part of it though
Yes, just the getting to the “check application status” is hard but otherwise it seems fine.
@angelof305 The “check application status” is at the top of the screen after entering the Student Service Center. Hopefully that helps.
Found it, thank you so much!
Just so everyone is aware - check out the new Connecticut budget cut. UConn’s budget is getting slashed. This is going to cause tuition to hike over the next few years, campus quality to decline, classes and staff cut, and other sad repercussions for students. I don’t mean to discourage anyone from attending, but I just want to make everyone aware of the situation
true @ygo432 there is a hige budget cut but having said that UCOnn has 3 times the endowment and R and D budget now. so even if slashed dont know how much it will be affected. ALso like the schools in CT the budget is being revised and programs are still running. thats the elite state college which has just increased a lot in national ranking. sure they will do all they can to keep it as is…
For anyone who applied by the “Priority” deadline of December 1, has anyone heard back? Is it true we won’t hear anything until March 1?
yep not till after march 1st is when they said… even for priority… its hard to wait though… esp when some U’s are sending out decisions with a dec1 deadline… wish they have overall uniformity in deadines and decisions…!!
My daughter applied in late November as an art major with a portfolio. GPA 3.728 ACT 30, ACT writing score 11 out of 12. Was hoping her strong portfolio would influence her admission but the art department tells me it’s not the case. Portfolio review and admission are completely separate and it’s entirely possible to have a positive portfolio review and still not get in (or to get into UConn but not be admitted into the selective art program). Is it true that the art school applicants hear back from admissions earlier? Does anyone know?
can you guys check your portals… has soething changed?? i cant get into mine there is nothing on the main menu page!! worried
@comom25 No issue logging in here.
Thanks @H0llyw00d …ya i got in…
What major did you apply for? and when did you apply for fall 2018 admissions? @comom25
The portal looks the same to me as it always has. @angelof305 It’s hard to navigate to the right place the first time: log in; in the “menu” in the upper left corner, click “self service”; then in the upper left corner click “student center”. That should bring you to your personal “student center,” then click “check application status.”
What will be the Leading Factor in the Acceptance. GPA? SAT? Essay? and What are expectations for the Accepted students to be?
class of 2021 decisions were out bef feb 25th…wonderwhen our will be released. any others wanting to speculate…
