@“concernedstudent.123” CCSU, another state Connecticut school, sent out the financial informaiton with the admissions packet. I’m not sure if that’s a thing that public schools in CT do, or if it’s specific to Central
If it comes in the mail please post on here… of course I’m away this weekend so I’m going to have my grandma go over and open it if everyone says that it came lol
admissions packet includes financial aid and scholarship information according to my admissions counselor. the portal does not have this information.
You can sign up for Informed Delivery with the USPS - just go to the website. They send you an e-mail every day with scanned images of the mail being delivered to you that day.
Seems like a lot of people are getting un-pictured pieces of mail. This could be good!
This could also be a sign that decisions would be coming on the portal today
No “unpictured” mail for us today…OOS
I just signed up, no unpictured mail for me either. Instate
I can see all of my mail on informed delivery and nothing from UConn today. In state
They usually post some kind of video, so watch for that today
You won’t be able to see anything from UConn as they most likely block the ability for people to see what they sent until the receiver physically goes and gets their mail from the mailbox.
@ChrisTheSwimmer I can see I’m getting a packet from UHart today, but nothing for UCONN. There are no unpictured pieces of mail either
I saw the UConn letter on informed delivery for my daughter in 2018. Can’t remember exact date but I know the letter came after the portal acceptance because we were anxiously awaiting merit info
I do know it was a Saturday
I just signed up for Informed Delivery and looked back over the past weeks mail. I tend to think unpictured mail might just be those large junk flyers full of adds and coupons which don’t go through automated machines and therefore don’t get scanned and photographed. Sorry to be a wet blanket.
@Mrhandyman omg that makes so much sense
Thursday is when we get that type of mail and that was the only thing not photographed bringing me to that conclusion.
I remember when I signed up for informed delivery it was the day Clemson decisions were mailed and my informed delivery showed nothing but I actually got my waitlist letter that. You just never know at this point
Oops…actually, I do have unpictured mail…not that it means anything.
For what it’s worth, I looked back to my texts with DD who applied to UConn last year. She was informed of acceptance on 3/1 via the portal, but didn’t receive the physical letter in the mail until 3/4. Scholarship money was in the physical letter and later in the financial aid award on the Student Center. It was not available on acceptance day.
