where is everyone seeing their scholarships
I received the academic excellence award and was accepted to honors college. I’m a biology major. How do I know if I’m a STEM scholar?
If you get a STEM scholarship, you’re a STEM scholar. STEM scholars are honors students with research, though, so if you don’t have research odds are you’re not a STEM scholar.
I got accepted with merit, honors college, and as a STEM scholar. Can anyone explain what a STEM Scholar is and the benefits for pre med?
I have a question, does it tell you how long you have to be at Hartford if you get in? Cause I don’t know if I got into the storrs spring admissions?
@foreverrr77 Do you mind sharing what your Stem Scholar merit award was?
The letter offering the scholarship?
@“IMPATIENT MOM” UCONN has a standing policy on transfers from a branch to Storrs. I can’t recall if it’s after 1 year or after 2 years. But the policy is that a successful 1 or 2 years at a branch guarantees a transfer into Storrs. Dig into their site to find the official policy.
My letter does not say how long I would need to stay in Hartford. Could someone help me with this?
I thought they tell if you got honors or not in the letter they send
DD in state accepted Storrs!
@sv52661
3 years ago my daughter was sent a letter that said she’d have to go to the Hartford branch then she can go to Storrs in the Spring so they would tell you…it’s possible if they offered Hartford and didn’t mention Spring that it’s for 2 years.
Can’t remember Netid password and can’t get resetting password to work!
@“concernedstudent.123” Mine said it in the letter that I was a stem scholar
I got 25k a year
Did anyone else get 25k/year for stem scholars?
Does everyones scholarship match what is says under financial aid? Mine is mismatched…
@“IMPATIENT MOM” Here is the policy for transferring from Stamford to Storrs. From their admissions/transfer site:
Students beginning their college careers at a regional campus can select from virtually all of UConn’s 110+ majors, then seamlessly transition to UConn’s main campus in Storrs to complete a bachelor’s degree after completing approximately 54 credits. All of UConn’s majors may be completed at the main campus in Storrs, except Business Administration, Business Data Analytics, Digital Marketing and Analytics, Financial Management, Marine Sciences, and Maritime Studies, which require coursework at multiple UConn campuses. Certain programs may require curriculum across multiple UConn campuses to complete an approved plan of study. Explore the undergraduate course catalog for additional information.
Does anyone know when the special program in medicine decisions come out?
Just got in to accepted to ACES Exploratory with 5k/yrs leadership scholarship.
