Class of 2025 acceptance

Still nothing

No word yet.

The counselors on the ZeeMee app said yesterday (Wednesday) that EA decisions would be out later this week and early next week. I would assume some would be out today, but not entirely sure.

My daughter’s application portal looks different this afternoon. But still no update. Anyone else have a similar experience?

No, my D’s looks the same. What was different about yours?

The picture of Samford Hall is a different one. Also, she previously had a paragraph about being deferred (she was deferred in October- I think because she went test optional), now it is replaced with a brief paragraph about this being her application portal. Also, she was asked to submit an additional item after being deferred and that was part of the checklist items. That additional document is no longer there. She has a friend under similar circumstances, but the friend has not seen a change in her portal this afternoon.

We just checked again. Still looks the same. Not sure if that is good or bad
My D went test optional, also. We are OOS and she could not take any tests ~ all were cancelled.

@lorabora We are also OOS. My D took the SAT once last March at school, she was sick that day and the score was not good. She had several cancelled and was never able to retest. We finally gave up on it. She’s had her application in since August; we’ve been waiting a long time to hear back. Hopefully soon!

It’s officially mid January!
Anyone hoping to hear today?

My OOS son has committed to Auburn. We toured the campus and a few apartment models this weekend. Can you all tell me if your child plans to live in the dorm or an apt?

If my D decides on Auburn, she will live in the dorms freshman year to meet other freshmen. We are OOS too and she wouldn’t know anyone else going there. Dorm life can be a little rough compared to apartment life, but it is the best way to meet other people. Now that my older D is in an apartment at a different school she really only hangs out with her roommates and the guys across the hall. She doesn’t meet nearly as many new people.

How was he notified? Did he get an email?

I just went in and checked AUSUM. It’s the portal where he applied.
