No decision still:(
No decision here either
GPA is on 4.0 scale - 4.0 for regular A, 4.5 for honors A, 5.0 for AP A. Daughter had all As and only 2 A- her whole high school career so unweighted was just under 4.0 and weighted at end of junior year 4.54. - not exactly sure how Delaware recalcs it.
Mine got the presidential. We are happy as she didn’t submit test scores so we weren’t expecting anything.
Anyone find out decisions tonite?
Presidential 15k a year.
Anyone told today they did not receive any scholarship unexpectedly? 4 2 Weighted, 3.8 unweighted. I know UD recalculates, but her high school has a strong reputation with UD so to think her recalculated GPA dropped below all of the scholarship levels is strange. We’ll ask UD, but just curious about others. Thanks!
How does UD calculate GPA? Do they use only core classes?
Has anyone hear of people getting rejected or deferred from udel yet? Curious if they are releasing just acceptances first
I think that is ours, too, but I see wGPA’s up to 5.0 on CC. I just checked, she had a B+, 4 A- freshman year, 4 A- sophomore, all A’s junior year, no A-‘s this year. Her stats are a little better than Dd19 who is there now, $17,000 a year.
@Mariejaclyn My D has a 3.79uw and got the $10K scholarship. She is OOS.
ANyone know if they can release decisions even if the office is closed during the break?
Thank you. We’re OOS too. Hoping it’s a glitch. Thought we’d be right around the 10k. Thanks for the reply!
@MMCA3 Mine too. Congratulations!
My daughter has a 3.95 UW with all honors, AP or DE. She got the Presidential for $15,000. Was expecting $17,000 which is what showed when we did the calculator earlier this year.
If your OOS, the most you could have gotten anyways was 17k, so its still a good amount!
Mine has to be wrong , now we have to wait till Jan 4th to talk to them, they gave my daughter 10k but she has a weighed and unweighed 4.0 with honors and AP doesn’t make any sense oh well
Hi. Daughter did not receive anything either. Very disappointed. 4.12 weighted. Honors and a few APs plus two college classes. UDel tends to like her high school. She was one of the first accepted out of the applicants. Kind of surprised to have not received anything.
Son got 19,000 Trustee
Oh I know, her sister is there and I was hoping she’d be a blue hen too. However, similar schools gave her $18,000 a year, when her sister applied to OOS public schools, they all ended up costing the same after merit, around equal to in state tuition. I’m pretty sure it would’ve been the same before TO since she pretty much has the same everything as Dd19. I don’t know if it will be worth it to her to pay an extra $12,000 to UD (she has to pay part of her education).
