If you’ve not already found them, there are 2 very active threads on CC for Parents of the HS Class of 2021.
This thread is for anyone but it does tend to be mostly about students who are applying to the big brand name T20 schools and LACs. Lots of parents with students who applied to 10 or more schools. Even if that’s not describing your situation, there is a alot of great info in the thread. Most of the parents in that thread are extremely knowledgeable about the college search & admissions process. My S21 is a high achiever but we’re 100% certain that UT is the best choice for him. Some of the parents on that thread were really helpful in confirming that decision.
This is another thread for all parents with HS class of 21 kids. But the discussion is not as focused toward the big brand name schools and the high stress that can often go along with the ultra competitive admissions process.
Also, S21’s 2 older sisters went to UTK. 1 is a Jr now. We’re pretty familiar with the school, campus & community.
