Some have it blue still who also show that they submitted scores and they’ve been received.
Don’t read much into any of this.

Wow!! How do you know how many applied. That is crazy of that low of acceptances
Where can you find that?
You can check on your school naviance
You can check for every college how many applied
My sons school doesn’t release current applications until summer. So you can’t see how many applied
Our school shows 12 acceptances and 82 applied for 2021 in Naviance. I’m not sure how accurate those data points are though for the prior year we show 50 acceptances and 92 applied. We have very few reds in the Scatterplot. We are at a very competitive school so if almost 50 percent were rejected that would shock me. I’m just wondering if everything wasn’t updated in our system due to COVID.
My D has put 2 acceptances for 2021 and they don’t show up yet so not sure how accurate Naviance is.
This is just not true based on historical acceptances at Penn State. In fact, PSU Is still accepting people in February! This is very early in the process. Many, many - If not most - acceptances yet to come.
yes, very…
Thank you! We love Penn State in my house as myself, my husband and two kids so far hae attended. I sort of fell into helping out on this page over the last 5 years because I went absolutely nutso waiting for my first daughter to hear in 2014 and I researched the heck out of everything! Back then, there was no EA. My daughter waited 5 MONTHS for her decision. She heard just a few days prior to the deadline and she had applied on the first day applications were open. It was an agonizing wait, so I understand the frustration of those here who are waiting. But I also have time and perspective to know that it all works out - regardless of where the students end up.
I had called to add to my personal statement. I wanted them to know that when I graduate in May from hs, I’ll also be receiving an Associates of Arts In Social & Behavioral Sciences. I spoke with the admissions officer and she said that would be the best thing to do. Hopefully, the wait will be over very soon.
I don’t know you, but I can’t imagine you going nutso over anything based on the composure you display on this forum. I feel a little better about myself now😂
Naviance shows all info (including enrollment) for previous years, they don’t have enough info yet for the current year.
Oh good lord - I was an absolute wreck. There are some long timers on here who can attest. They virtually sat me down and told me to get a grip and I did lol. PSU was my daughter’s #1 choice and she only applied to one other school that she didn’t want to go to, and said she wouldn’t go anywhere but UP campus. So if she didn’t get in, we were going to be scrambling.
The point to that story is just simply that it all worked out. Two years later my son also applied but he wanted to start at a commonwealth campus (which was very good because he’d never have gotten into UP campus) and he started at Altoona - which was PERFECT for him. In fact, because of his major he had to go to UP campus after only one year and he almost failed out. UP campus is no joke. But he got it together and he’s graduating with good grades in May. Again - it all works out.
I was a wreck with my first because she was my first. The whole thing had me crazy - her applying, her leaving, all of it. Now, I know we parents survive them leaving and we actually enjoy watching them thrive out there in the world.
This has been a good admissions group this year. We’ve had some VERY contentious years on here with posters who were rude or mean or demeaning. This year, has been great. Just people looking for answers which is what we are here to help with.
But yeah - I totally relate to the frustration with Penn State’s process. TOTALLY.
I looked and it says 2020 which I think is graduating year. 2021 not listed yet
Mine turned gray after I changed my TO option and sent scores in
Just checked and while earlier in day daughters Test Optional button was blue…it disappeared!!! So think answer is coming soon, fingers crossed!
my test optional button is still blue :// guessing i wont get an answer soon
My D’s Naviance has 2021 updates regularly. Daily lately.
same I’m so sad
Applied on 11/15 for CS still haven’t heard back plus the TO button is blue
This is so STRESSFULL
