<p>When looking at class rank, if a school provides separate weighted/unweighted class ranks, which does the college place the most emphasis on in their decision? I know GPA is always unweighted, but I've never heard this discussed for class rank...</p>
<p>I am assuming that the Weighed class rank would be the most important factor in that case, because it more accurately compares you to the rest of the kids in your class. However, you un-weighed GPA is also very important, but not as much the unweighed rank. :)</p>
<p>I asked the same question when I was applying and never got an answer. But I believe they will take the highest of your ranks.</p>
