Since you register for classes during orientation and international students' orientation is very late, in August, does this mean international student pick classes last and could possibly not get into some popular classes?

I don’t know if there is any reserved spots for international students like there is for Honors kids, but later registrations do have a lot less choices than earlier dates. My brother chose the second-to-last orientation date last year, and he ended up not being able to take the classes he really needed to take (ex. lab not being available, but the lecture is) and had almost no control on when he wanted each class.

Spaces in classes are reserved for students in international orientation. If this wasn’t implemented, there would be virtually no spots available in most classes.
