Hi, I’m planning classes for junior year and I’d like some input.
Junior year choices:
I’ve already taken physics, should I choose bio(only reg offered), or ap environmental sci?
Normal american lit or ap eng lang & comp?
would also take ap calc & spanish 3 & apush
Sophomore schedule: honours eng, precalc, chem, span2, ap world history
I’d definitely take bio at some point, that’s something that a lot of schools are going to want to see. If you’re concerned that it’s not an AP, maybe you can find a way to do some extra studying and still take the AP exam?
I think you should go ahead and do AP Lang. But you should reflect on how you’re doing in your current Honors English class.
AP Environmental Science is considered a lite AP class. If you’re really interested in it, then go ahead - it shouldn’t be overwhelming.
As lalalemma already mentioned, Bio should be taken eventually (assuming it’s a requirement at your school) - so it wouldn’t hurt you to take regular now. Your other option would be to do AP Bio next year.
To clarify - this is definite?

Bio. A lot of colleges require a high school bio course.
I’d say take AP Language if you’re doing well in your current class.
Bio and AP Lang.
