Class Size

Where can you check the class size of each course? Is it the maximum enrollment number that appears in classes.ucdavis.edu?

Add up the sizes of all the sections for that lecture. For example, the sections labeled “A” all have the same lecture.

What do you mean by sections? I’m looking at math courses and some say they have 50 while others have 250

One of the columns is labeled “sections”. If it’s simply a number, then that lecture only has one section. So the number of seats for that section is whatever it says. However, if the section has a letter before the number (ie. A03), then each of the sections starting with “A” have the same lecture but different discussions (and labs depending on the course.) So to figure out how many people are in the lecture, you would need to add up the number of people in each section.
