I don't know if anyone else remembers the notable front page story from the Seattle Times a few weeks back about huge classes at UW, but it is my biggest concern in my decision process at this point. How does the University try to reduce the class size? Do they have break out sessions or discussion groups? Do they just give TAs to teach your classes? Is it just a big lecture for an entire quarter?

You’ll have big classes at UW for any introductory class. Once you start taking higher level courses the class sizes drop down to 20-50 and sometimes even 5!
