<p>books you order online. but what about notebooks and folders and stuff? i’m taking calc 1 chem 1, intro to engineering, and a writing seminar. i’m not sure what supplies to get for the classes and when to get them. should i just wait until the first day of classes and see if the professors tell me what i need? because i feel like i should come prepared with all of that already… but i just don’t know what i’ll need. help?</p>
<p>It’s mostly up to your personal preference. I usually just get a few spiral bound notebooks for note-taking.</p>

<p>Yeah, I use one spiral college ruled notebook per class. Then, I have three folders too (sharing one between the two less paper heavy classes). Some people do notes on laptops for some classes though. Smaller classes usually aren’t big on using laptops though (think Writing, etc). </p>
<p>Notebooks are crazy on-sale tons of places right now and will be until school. If you’re picking up school supplies, you might want post-its and index cards too. You’ll generally use pens more than pencils but a pack of pencils would be nice too.</p>
