I'm currently a junior in HS and I go to a school with a very limited number of course offerings, especially in the areas I am interested in (political science, IR, history, etc). I am already taking all available classes in these fields, as well as additional language classes at the local community college. Would it be to my advantage to take more classes at the comm. college? I know Gtown probably won't accept transfer credits, but will they at least evaluate the fact that I have taken the classes, especially since I'll be applying for the SFS?

I guess what I'm asking is, is it worth the time and money?

Georgetown will accept the community college courses if they were not required for your high school diploma. For example, if your high school required a total of 120 credits to graduate and the community college classes are included in that total they will not accept them. If you ended up with more than the required credits Georgetown will most likely transfer some classes in.

yeah, i've been wondering about how much college credit counts. (actually, dual enrollment.) will having a lot of college credit help or hurt? i don't know if they'll like that, or think you jumped the gun. (i'll have 30 c. credits when i graduate.)

I took a Spanish V class at the community college level and ended up with a B in the class due to some unavoidable occurrences. However, I'm retaking it this semester to get an A. Will this affect any part of the admission officials' decision, or my college GPA, or will they see this at all?

u dont need to send ur grade do u? I had a B in macroeconomics at com. college and still decided to send it. Keep in mind that it is college level. Alot harder than AP classes in my opinion.
