Classes for next year-- questions

We did scheduling a few months ago. Here’s what I signed up for (senior year):
-Brit Lit/Expository Composition
-Trig/Pre-Calc
-AP European History
-Physics
-Spanish IV
-AP Macroeconomics/AP US Government

Now. I am not satisfied. I almost think I want to take another AP, but I’ve only taken my first one this year. I did very well in it (hopefully on the test, as well, but I have no expectations!) – high A both semesters. I love social studies but I almost think I need an AP out of that department - my AP this year was social studies as well.

So. I can’t move up in Spanish or Math… the way my school does the “tracks” makes it impossible. Plus I don’t even know if I want to take Spanish next year. I refuse to move up in Physics – I have a very hard time with science.

So. That leaves Brit Lit/Expo Comp. Should I stick with my schedule now or try to move up to AP Lit? Problem: I can write well, I just am not good at discussions. Numerous teachers have told me AP Lit thrives on discussions, which I’m worried about. If it’s of any help, my ACT scores in English/Reading are 29 and 28, respectively…

ALSO.

I can’t do nothing this summer. My options right now are:
A) Independent study course in Psychology
B) Course at community college in Microeconomics

Either way I would take the corresponding AP exam. I’m actually considering taking both AP exams no matter which I decide to take – I’ll just independently study the one I don’t take over the summer.

Psychology is cheaper (~$150 compared to $350 micro) for same credits … I’m kind of leaning towards Psychology but I don’t know what looks better to colleges, if any. Taking an independent course and fully learning it myself or taking an actual class and actively participating?

If you aren't good at discussions, perhaps high school would be the ideal time to develop those skills. Take AP lit.
