<p>I’m in the honors program w/ a major in biology and I was wondering what classes I would be taking next year. Would it just be the Western Culture class, Calc I, Bio I w/ lab and Chem I? Would that be possible with BC’s supposedly “stringent” core cirriculum?</p>
<p>We just attended the Biology dept session for admitted students yesterday and my son is also going to be a Biology major (pre-med) , the schedule for freshman was: Biology I w lab, Chem, Freshman writing class, Calc and one elective.</p>
<p>Student in BC honors have their own curricuulum separate from regular non-honor students. I think if you just follow the set of classes given to you, you should be fine.</p>
<p>actually i think you were pretty right when you listed those courses. but dont worry, the honors kids have most things planned out for them in the beginning so youll have it taken care of for you at orientation. just enjoy sr year and summer!</p>
