classes to prep for business school

Should I take certain classes for biz school?

ill be going to mcgill next year in montreal for international development and am looking to avoid math but is linear and multi calc necessary for business school?

if i take NO MATH in college wut will business schools like harvard and columbia think?

You should really take at least 1 or 2 calculus classes :)

-_- so without taking high level math, i have no shot at those schools
i want to do social entrepreneuship

Well, I am only saying that you would be more prepared for B-schools (every b-school from #1 to #100) if you take some calculus classes. If you study at Liberal Arts school and it is mandatory to take some math classes, take calculus.

just curious, what good is cal to business??

^^A basic understanding of calculus is necessary for a lot of courses in B-School (I went to Kellogg). Examples include statistics, finance and economics courses. I have an undergraduate degree in Biology and Math and took the more rigorous or quantitative versions of these courses in B-School, but I think you need to have at least one semester of college calculus (and preferably two) to get what you want out of those courses.
