Hi guys,
I ended up applying to Ross but I’m not sure if I’ll get in. As a result, I’m looking to plan ahead for next year. I took Math 116, Stats 250, and a FYWR last year. I currently have a 3.5 GPA. I am scheduled to take Econ 102, MoviSci 241 (Nutrition Science), English 225, and Accounting 300/BA 201 depending if I get off of the accounting 300 waitlist. I also will have two leadership positions next semester and a summer finance internship. For the winter semester, I hope to take Econ 401, another Ross course, but I do not know what I should take for the other two classes for the winter semester. Any suggestions?
If you didn’t get in the first time and it was mainly because of your grades. You should literally take the easiest classes possible (and probably still relevant) for a 4.0 for both semesters. As a backup, make sure you take classes that at least fulfill some other requirement besides credit. Perhaps also apply to Ford School, School of Information, or Organization Studies too. Check ratemyprofessor.com, myedu.com, and read the past syllabi from lsa.umich.edu/cg
A girl I briefly dated had to pretty much exaggerate and embellish her entire leadership/extracurricular part since all she did was drink and party throughout freshmen year. She got accepted, so they don’t check too thoroughly.
Other posters here will tell you to not do that. And that’s true. You shouldn’t if you have any integrity. (At your own risk, I take no responsibility)
However, it wouldn’t be business without a glimmer of unethical decisions and that’s always an open door to consider.
@ForeverAlone So Econ 401 wouldn’t be necessary?
You probably shouldn’t if you got less than an A- on 101 and 102
