I'm registering for classes and currently i have 6. Is it crazy to take macro econ, calc, art humanities, music humanities, oceanography & lit humanities?

if you’re a freshman, it’s nearly impossible to get into art hum or music hum

doable schedule, just hard to get into music and art hum period, much less in the same semester. Not impossible though, just hit that refresh button hard, lol.

don’t you have to take frontiers/uwriting?

We are allowed to register now, i thought that was during orientation…and are we allowed to change out of the classes we’ve been placed into for our compulsory classes, i.e. frontiers or lit hum

@Lizzy, you can switch core sections but you have to petition a committee to do it, and they require a semi-real reason, i.e., I’m a bio major and my lithum section is at the same time as beginning chemistry. But I had a guy in my lithum class who seemed to have just switched to get a better teacher, so I think it’s possible to get it switched fairly easily.

EDIT: But, you can’t just not take lithum your freshman year at all, if thaa
T was your question.

how did you sign up for classes already? I thought registration was on sep. 3rd …

This is exactly what I am wondering.

My earlist registration shown on SSOL is on 2nd Sep…
What the hEEEEL"“”"LLL is going on!?

I didn’t sign up for anything…but if you go on sail and look under schedule we have been apparently automatically registered for compulsory classes. I just wanted to find out if I could switch times, because one of my classes end kind of late …8 pm

Go on ssol I mean…oh and I just realized that the OP is a transfer not a freshman so that’s probably why he/she is able to register now

okay that makes sense … and my earliest registration is 2:30 on September 3rd ugg

which calc? because calc I is a pre-req for macro.
6 will be pretty difficult.
