<p>I love latin and am interested in maybe double majoring in geology and classics. Does anyone know if William and Mary has a decent classics program?</p>

<p>The Classics department isn't anything mind-blowing, but it's definitely a good, strong department.</p>
<p>Thanks... most likely I wouldn't major in classics, but I'd certainly like to take some classes in that area.</p>
<p>my buddy was a classics major at W&M and loved it (he's now at Brown for his Ph.D.). small department, lots of personal attention, good professors (though he says to stay away from prof. baron).</p>
<p>I had baron last semester, he wasn't too bad. Kind of dry, lots of bad jokes, but he's a really nice guy and he knows his stuff. As far as I know of, there isn't really anybody to really watch out for.</p>
