My son submitted his application a few days ago through Coalition. Does Clemson send an email confirmation so set up a portal? If so, how long does that take? Thank you all for the great information!

There is not a portal. You should get emails confirming receipt of the application. You should also receive another email when they have received all materials needed. It can take a while! My son did email admissions to make sure they received his transcript because the confirmations were taking so long. It took them about 48 hours to get back to him.
Do not hesitate to email them, because they were very nice about it.
My DS received 2 emails, one confirming they received the application, and a second confirming they had all of the required documentation. SInce there is no portal, if you don’t receive confirmation, I’d recommend emailing them to be sure they have everything.

DS still waiting on letter confirming they received his transcript. Counselor sent it 11/1.
@psssthoy I would allow a good week from when the counselor sent the transcript. It can take a bit to link it to the application. Again, I would not hesitate to shoot them an email to confirm there are no outstanding items. Can’t hurt.
For us the transcript was sent on 10/8 but we did not receive an e-mail until 10/22 confirming they had received everything.
@loulou2 Confirmation from Clemson application came the next business day. It’s more difficult to pinpoint how quickly he was notified that they had everything as I don’t know exactly when the counselor submitted the transcripts. I think it was at least a week. I did end up emailing them before receiving the confirmation though.
