Clemson Hillel?

Is Clemson's Hillel still active in any way?

The website shows a Hillel page last updated in February 2004.

Thanks.

I haven't heard of this organization, but you could try contacting the faculty adviser listed on the website.

Clemson University

According to Hillel.org, there is an organization, but they record zero undergraduates as being Jewish....IMO, as Mitch_L stated, you should e-mail the person listed..

I tried emailing the person listed on the Hillel website and have not received a reply.

[CU Hillel’s Home Page](http://people.clemson.edu/~hillel/)

Here’s the website for Clemson Hillel

I just left the second message for Dr. Cohen at Clemson. I may have to cancel my college visit in April. What a shame. I don’t understand why they do not have a significant jewish population given that they are so close to Atlanta. Any ideas? My son goes to College of Charleston and they have a wonderful Hillel.

pgh: just left another post for you on another thread…you might be better served to contact a local synagogue in the area (I actually have had more luck and honest answers doing that than with Hillel peeps)…please post back; I have a possible 2015 kid and know a number of local NJ kids deciding right now about Clemson…(but their parents don’t visit CC).

College of Charleston: you may already know this, but Charleston, SC has a long, storied history within the Jewish religion…may contribute to COC’s HIllel strength…

Then send your other child to cofc. Not every school in the country, especially schools that are very southern are going to have a great hilel. I’m surprised there are as many jewish kids at these schools to begin with.

Have you been to clemson before?
