I have my choices narrowed down to George Washington or Clemson. I am going to double major in political science and economics. I am 100% set on going to law school. I have a full ride to Clemson, have not heard back money wise from GW. Which should I choose?
Nicklefever, you should go to GW as obviously you are not sold on Clemson. Better someone who wants to be there join the Clemson family and get the benefit of the scholarship money.
I’d go to Clemson. If you’re going to law school, undergrad is simply the BA that you have to get in order to be admitted to law school, and what matters most for lawyers is where you go to law school (generally you need to go to the most prestigious one possible) and how you do there (you need to get good grades in law school).
If you can get that BA for free (which you can at Clemson), it’s a slam-dunk, since if cost might be an issue in law school, it’ll significantly increase the range of law schools that you can go to.
I’m a lawyer.
