Hello! I'm a junior in high school. I am looking into taking CLEP tests at my local community college to help validate my homeschool grades. They accept quite a few. I've already taken a dual credit course but would like to just take Clep tests for the remaining credits I want. If I get college credit from these tests and these class credits are placed on my community college transcript, would these class credits transfer to another 4 year college when I graduate high school.

Your CLEP scores will only appear on your community college transcript if you are enrolled as a student at that community college. I do not believe this will automatically occur simply because you are already taking a dual credit course while in high school (whether homeschooled or not). If you are already planning to transfer to a 4-year college, I would be checking what their CLEP policy is before taking any CLEP exams. CLEP Services keeps your scores on record for 20 years, so whenever you are ready to enter college (whether community college or a 4-year college down the road), you will need to order a transcript from CLEP which will show all of your test scores.
