what will colleges see?

i am a sophomore and might choose to go to community college for my junior and senior yr of high school. Im probably going to take dual enrollment and start taking community college courses rather than AP. I just prefer the idea of college than high school - i just hate it. Since its dual enrollment i can still do high school clubs and sports so i think i will be fine. However, im definitely gonna transfer out to a 4 year college. My question is when i apply to 4 year colleges, do i have to supply my grades from high school or just my grades from community colleges

I’m pretty sure even if you transfer as a college student (i.e. one 4-year college to another) they still ask for your high school grades. So you’ll have to supply high school grades regardless

k thanks

Also be sure to consider your state colleges as they will accept the most of the CC credits.

If you take community college courses while you are still in high school, you will not be allowed to “transfer” to a 4-year college once you get your high school diploma. Those CC courses will not be considered college courses that count towards determining how you will apply to college and you will apply as a freshman, the same as if you had no CC courses. As a freshman applicant you will have to provide your entire high school record and your CC record. The community college courses may or may not be given credit by the college – the courses will have to qualify as ones accepted by the college for college credit and, for many colleges, you will not get college credit for CC courses that you use to meet high school requirements for graduating from high school, e.g., if you need three years of math to graduate from high school and want to use one of the CC courses as one of those required years, you may not get college credit for it.

Also, as noted above, even if you could be considered a transfer student, colleges uniformily require transfer applicants to provide both their college and high school records.
