Ok, so now that I have your attention, I'm going to be majoring in business economics in college. Im not really concerned about law school right now, but I was wondering, if I'm interested in going into, say, criminal law, but I have a business degree, will this look bad when applying to law school? People say you can major in anything and do law, but does this mean any type of law??

you're not going to specify "criminal law" when you apply to law school...so no, it doesn't matter or "look bad" at all

no necessarily. For instance you can't really evaluate engineeering patents (patent attorney) if you don't get an engineering or phyiscs degree. But that is one really specific case...
