If I unpin a topic, it remains unpinned every time I log on. However, when I close a blue header, it doesn’t remain closed when I log on again.

Thank you for posting this. I’ve been meaning to make a similar comment.
I get the need to advertising dollars, and am OK with the blue banners. But really, once I click close, it should not keep popping up, particularly when I’m not the demographic looking for scholarship money, to use the current example.
