What kind of clothing is a must have when I go to college this fall in upstate ny?

You talking Syracuse, Buffalo, Rochester, or Ithaca?

Not that far up, more like Albany.

thongs 10char

really though is this a necessary question? bring a good coat for the cold weather and some snowboots. a ‘cute’ hat and ‘cute’ gloves to round out the rest, earmuffs as well if you get cold ears.

^ ya flip flops r a must

-Jeans
-Hoodies (at least 2)
-Lounge pants in different lengths - long ones for cold days, gauchos or capri stretch pants for warmer ones
-At least three nice outfits for networking events that may come up unexpectedly (by nice I mean business casual)
-At my women’s college we all had to have a white dress for Founders Day, but I think that’s a pretty unusual kind of thing.

Apparently you need that blue bag with the brown leather handles and a leather flap.

^ Longchamp bags? Haha they come in colors besides blue too…

If you check out college fashion dot net, you’ll find practically a packing list waiting for you.

I know I pimp the site a little (just because I’m a fan, not because I’m affiliated), but they really are a great resource for fashion conscious girls that are new to college. Once you really get your own style, etc, the site gets a little superfluous and is mostly for entertainment, but either way it’s a good source.

@PRiNCESSMAHiN: This site is actually really great! Bookmarking several pages :)

Cargo shorts?

nobody mentioned a good pair of boots? for when theres 10 foot of snow on the ground.

Jeggings! Bean boots. Rain boots.
