Club Shirt Ideas

Every year each of my clubs asks its members to come up with a witty saying or clever design to put on our t-shirts, and every year we fail to do so. We end up with lame, generic shirt. (Insert club name, school mascot, and school name.)

I want my senior year to be different, so I am trying to come up with ideas to suggest to the club officers/sponsors.

What ideas do you have or what have you seen in the past that you loved on shirts for all your clubs.

Specifically, I am interested in Mu Alpha Theta and Foreign Language Honor Society. For FLHS, I had a few (rough) ideas like using De Niro's line "Are you talking to me?!?!" or doing a mastercard commercial where each line is in a different language and the last line is "For everything else, there's FLHS." Also, I wanted to try to use a play on "It's all Greek to me." I feel like it has potential, I just can't see it yet.

Any ideas would be great!

Mu alpha theta. Black shirt, white verdana font.

NERDS > U

WOOHOO Mu Alpha Theta. Unfortunately, our shirts were mucho lame last year. There are a lot of funny MAO shirts out there (hahah like the one with Mao Zedong's beautiful face), but I'm pretty sure schools would get P.O'd if they saw you with the same shirt. Especially since all the shirts I've seen are all from Florida....so I can't help you there.

The shirts that have math pick-up lines are always funny, e.g. "I'd like to be a derivative and lie tangent to your curve"

For our math team shirts last year, on the back up in the corner they said "let y=dx" and then said in big letters "Bringing Sexy Back" where the S in sexy was an integral sign and then e^x y.

^^ i LOVE that!!!!

I think our MAO shirt this year says "I|N|T|E|G|R|A|L|S|...My Antiderivative"

Our MAO shirt is awesome. Just became a member.

lol at the sexy line. I need shirt ideas of Mu Alpha Theta too. Even though I'm in college, I still keep in touch with my high school's group through Facebook.

Oh, and I might see some of you guys at the March Invitational (in Florida of course). My college is sponsoring it apparently and they're looking for people to serve on a year-round committee dedicated to organizing it. Hopefully I'll get a position but I have to go to an interview Sunday and won't find out till Monday

hah these are funny

anyone have any ideas for national honor society shirts.. or international club?

I was hoping that this forum would bring in ideas from outside of Florida so our team wouldn't be matching another.

BUMP
