so sorry this is way late, but I just read your post. my sister is a third year right now at muir, and she isn't in strides but one of her best bestest friends is, he's one of my favorite people. sometimes when I've been hanging out with him he sees people in public and they're like "yay we know each other from strides!" and its all very sentimental. he was also a cross country runner in high school, from what I can tell the self-motivation background is good, I don't know if you're like a serious runner or what, but, I guess my point is that Ive heard nothing but good stuff about strides. plus, I've run xcountry all through high school and I was thinking about joining, to keep the longdistance thing happening. but yeah, if that helps at all.

what is strides?

Are there any other running clubs?
