<p>Do you want a big university or a small college setting? What field of study? Plans after undergrad?</p>
<p>Some others will have better-targeted questions, but those are really basic ones you need to answer just to begin sorting this out.</p>
<p>I would have to say go with the best financial package. All things being equal the above questions need to be answered. Personally, I would say Cal, it is among the elite of the elite. Good Luck!</p>
<p>it would help if you give us more info. choosing the school may depend largely on the major/ cost/ preferred social setting. Those 3 schools are vastly different socially, and you should account for that. Personally, I would pick UCLA bc of its location, weather, sports, academics, tuition (if in-state), and far better social life than the other two.</p>
<p>if you are leaning towards government/econ majors, CMC is the way to go. you're going to get plenty of opportunities and networking.</p>

patlees88, there is no way UCLA has a "far better social life" than Cal. Have you ever been to both? Sure, the environments are different, but Cal is just as social as UCLA. At Cal, football games aren't 20 miles away for starters...</p>
