no, i got my decision a week ago.

has anyone from last year get his or her decision--acceptance--this late in April?

I have my decision finally =]

I am now officially rejected from CIT and IS. bows

Congrats Monkeegirl. Where will you be going?

I don't know.......two best bets are RPI and Georgia Tech

RPI gave lots of money but personally I prefer Georgia Tech since they seem much more interested in me. But at the end, it all depends on the $$. I planned to transfer to Rice or Cornell if I ended up at my safeties.

did you find out online or via mail?

my decisions online are still blank. my decision came by mail. I was v. surprised to have gotten rejected from IS.

sorry to hear that. I have yet to hear back--I think next week....in the middle of midterm!

[] Why I think I was accepted/deferred: Denied because I am pretty much average, accepted because its the one thing I didn't really want...
[] Other thoughts: Congrats to everyone, I just got my decision today (4/3/06), but does anyone know how internal transfers work?
[/ul]

Internal transfers work by you applying as early as freshman year of spring semester. You need a minimum of 2.0 GPA and if there is space you will most likely get in (unless it is something like SCS where you have to do well like get an A in 211).

does cmu ask for final report grades for the 2nd half of the senior year?

Yes. I think all schools require a FINAL transcript for senior year. At the least you have to prove you graduated and got your HS diploma.

can anyone verify this?? and if its true, wat grades would be sufficient enough for cmu to remove a admitted student?

Of course its true. I can bet my life on it.

I don't understand your question but if your FINAL transcript has a lot of C's, D's, or F's, Carnegie Mellon reserves the right to rescind your admission.

Other thoughts: CMU c/o 2010. :)

Hey, its been 14 days since my decision notification was supposed to have been sent, but I still haven't recieved it. They did send me a CD and some other stuff once, so there shouldn't be any mailing address problem. Should I be worried? Does it usually take this long? Ive been accepted and I want to reply with the housing assignment and stuff as soon as possible.

^ There might be a problem if they say they've sent it and you haven't received it yet.

I wrote to them. What happens if I don't recieve my notification by May 1st? Is my acceptance withdrawn?
