CMU summer school

I want to apply for CMU’s architecture house in the future, and I wonder if the summer school of architecture in CMU can help to apply? And is it a trustworthy summer session? Have anyone attended before? Tell me some details, thank you~

Are you referring to CMU’s Pre-College Architecture program? Attending a career program like this (many schools of architecture offer them) are an excellent way to get a feel for what studying and working in architecture would entail, especially before committing to a 5.0 year Bachelor of Architecture. It’s also a great way to assemble an admissions portfolio, which is required by CMU and several others.

Would attendance in CMU’s Pre-College program help to get you admitted to CMU’s BArch program? Hard to say. I don’t think it would hurt at CMU or at other top rated BArch programs, but there’s no direct correlation.
