CMU vs. UCLA vs. UIUC?

I am a Chinese student going to college this fall, and I am accepted to:

Carnegie Mellon Univ.(CIT & Mellon College of Science),
UCLA (neuroscience),
and UIUC (Engineering Physics)

I am more of a math/science person but I am totally not interested in ECE, which CMU seems to be very good at. I feel like I would be more fit in UCLA because of its lively energy and the California sunshine. CMU's reputation of being very strict on students, UCLA's having too much Asians and UIUC's being in the corn field make me hesitate.

Which one of the three colleges should I choose? I mean, according to aspects like costs, locations, school atmosphere, and their strength in science and engineering...

Thx a lot!

Anyone with advice?

This is a little off-topic, but in what way is CMU strict on students? I also got into CMU and would like to know.

I just heard some rankings said CMU was the third strictest school (Harvard is No.1)… It scares me. I’m not sure whether it is true though.
