Co-terminal degree

Is the 5 year bs/ms in engineering a "binding" application? I see on RPI's brochure that applications for accelerated program in engineering is due by November 1st. Does this mean it is an ED application?

The coterminal program for engineering (or any other school) is not the type of program for which an early application is required. You can only apply for it when you have 90+ credits (which is about 3 years worth of credits, far beyond what almost every student enters with). More information is available at [Coterminal Graduate Degree Program : Office of Undergraduate Education, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute](http://undergrad.rpi.edu/update.do?artcenterkey=264) .

The only programs (that I know of) for which you need to register early are

1) Physician-Scientist
2) Management-Law
3) STS-Law (STS = Science, Technology, and Society)

Thanks for the info cesium55.
