Co-vals suck

At our school, the race for valedictorian is a combination of marks and a popularity contest - and I lost both. The principal picked the top 5 students, listed their GPAs and the number of senior courses they were taking on a ballot, and the senior class voted. This is done b/c grad is at the end of may instead of in june, when we officially graduate. Funny thing is, even though I am taking more senior and ap classes than the others on the ballot, my GPA was about 1% lower (I was 3rd on the list) and I lost the popularity contest because they like the way one of the nominees sings and dresses. What a world to live in.

i love this, whenever someone gets druiunk, ima have them type something

? What on earth are you on about?

lol i wish our val was picked that way. i could probably win.

you sing? lol! It's funny because we always have asinine polls -"best eyes, tallest, best dressed, funniest, best smile" all of these ridiculus criteria, but so far they haven't gone as far as "best looking"

Our school has a 'best looking' in the yearbook.

most schools have a "best looking" in the yearbook. superlatives are just fun like that.

I'll be gone before they add that. It's funny, I didn't realize that the yearbook could serve as a fashion magazine as well as a collection of reflections. Luckily I'm only doing the academic sections...

Edit: There is a lot of rhyming in this post
