Alright, so I really would like to go to Cockrell at UT because I am in state and therefore it is much cheaper than any alternatives. I want to do electrical engineering or aeronautical engineering.. (most likely electrical) and I was wondering if I could get into honors. I'm almost sure that I will get in Cockrell because I am 30 out of 607 in my class, I got a 760m/670cr SAT1. I am going to have 12 Aps under my belt (WHist, Psych, ELang, USHist, ELit, CalBC, Stats, PhysC, Chem, Compsci, Govt, Eco). I am probably going to get in the high 700s on the SAT MATH 2, and Physics. I don't have very many EC's, but what do I look like for honors, is it worth a shot?

Very likely. Your profile is pretty similar to mine (though i have a higher rank/SAT). We’ve taken 11/12 of the same APs (I have EnvSci instead of Physics), in state as well. I talked to a UT Austin Honors rep who told me I had an extremely strong chance, and should be expecting an acceptance letter.
