What does it mean that the dorms at North Carolina State University are coed? How are men and women separated? By floors? By suites?

Coed can mean a lot of things. It can be that a building has single-sex floors but houses both females and males. If you have a suite, some of your dormates could be male. Or it could be that one half of the floor is female and the other male. I don't know about this school, so why don't try to see if it has its own forum section? Better yet, e-mail the school.

it means 24/7 sex, no classes

not really, but it would be cool

Look it up on NC State's website. They are the only ones that will tell you exactly what it means for them.
Here, coed means separated by floors.

You need to ask someone at NC, but it does not mean boys and girls share the same room or suite.
