All Male Floors at UNC?

Howdy everyone. I just have a quick question about the exact meaning of "coed" at UNC.

My previous university had the opposite ratio to that at UNC (6 to 4 male to female ratio), and because of that, I ended up stuck in one of the many all male floors at that university. Not that I don't like my bros, but I would really like to share a floor with some chicks this time around.

While I do know that there is an all male dorm and an all female dorm, are there all male/all female floors at the normal "coed" floors, or do all "coed" floors consist of females and males? Thanks for your responses. BTW, I'm at Cobb, so any specific information in relation to my topic about that dorm would be appreciated.

AFAIK, Cobb is a coed dorm, but the individual floors are all male or all female.

Cobb is definitely all male or all female floors, due to the common hall bathrooms. Most of the coed suite style dorms are mixed male/female floors.

Huh? Are you a guy? No you don’t get to share floors and bathrooms with chicks srry bro

^ Incorrect. In most coed suite style dorms, the floors are coed while each suite with it’s own bathroom is single sex.

Cobb is hall style dorm though.

^Yup, having lived there… I can vouch for that.
