Cognitive Science program at NU

I'm interested in majoring in cognitive science at Northwestern, and was wondering if anyone could tell me about the professors and class rigor and all that. Also I'd be interested in double majoring in cogsci and say economics or linguistics so if anyone could explain the ease, or difficulty, in double majoring here, thanks!

double majoring, especially in two weinberg majors, is extremely common. You sacrifice a little flexibility in class scheduling (less free electives, tougher to schedule study abroad or chicago field studies, etc.) but gain a little in career flexibility/supporting your interests.

My best friend Doubled in Cognitive Science and Linguistics and was very happy with both programs.

The cog sci program here at NU is a program that was designed to be completed within 2 years. Double majoring/minoring is completely possible; it’s one of the advantages of the quarter system. Personally, I’m a cog sci major and I’m probably going to get an Italian minor and concentration in music as well.
