Colby College Class of 2023 RD

This is what mine says…

Thank you for your interest in attending the Class of 2023 Admitted Students Program. Registration is available only for admitted students. Please contact us at admissions@colby.edu or 207-859-4800 if you need further assistance.

@teddy10143 what does yours say??

Mine says the same message: “Thank you for your interest in attending the Class of 2023 Admitted Students Program. Registration is available only for admitted students. Please contact us at admissions@colby.edu or 207-859-4800 if you need further assistance.” Oh well! Everyone post later to confirm the validity of this hack!

UGH

I couldn’t log in. I was hoping for colby… I guess not

@alexandra00 it says the same for me too but whatever. Got into Grinnell w/ a phat scholarship. Also anyone who gets into Grinnell and not Colby should know that Grinnell is ranked top 11 in liberal art schools and Colby is 18th…NOT that rankings mean anything but if u wanna make urself feel better there u go

It didn’t say anything, it just asked like about my travel plans for admitted students da, whether or not I want a travel grant, and if anyone would come with me, nothing like “you were accepted!” Tho

I wanted to access my application portal and it says the password entered is wrong even though I made my password identical for all my colleges. I clicked “forgot my password” and it says No account exists for this email address and birthdate. IM FREAKING OUT WHAT??? I should email them right?? omg

Couldnt log in…guess that means I was rejected. Ouch

i would call them to get it fixed faster. i had to change my AU password and I called and it was an easy fix. dont worry!

omg nvm I put my year of birth 2019

So not to sound like a party pooper, but I recall reading another thread where someone figured out a hack just prior to decisions being released, and then the school caught on and revoked the acceptances for the students who hacked in. Not sure if the story is true or not, but it was on a thread here on CC…

This is nowhere near hacking. It is on their website and available for literally everyone

for those who could log in, what does it say exactly? because someone wrote something about details being included like travel plans or just a general statement??

@poilons The site allows me to enter info about my plans for admitted students day, like do I need overnight accomodations, who’s coming with me, etc. There’s no special message or anything.

@poilons perhaps I worded it incorrectly, but it was a similar situation. Do as you like. I was just passing on a story that I read.

I copy and pasted the screen (it also has my name and email in it so it’s not general):

Why not just wait until it is released

Can’t wait for D to get out of school and check!! This is the first school with a very low admit rate that we’ll be hearing from, so reserving emotions. Will be fine either way! Good luck to everyone!

@teddy10143 I honestly think it’s a very good sign. you probably got in. Congratulations!!
